Megan

Megan is the daughter of another of my wedding clients from last year, and it was great to meet her and spend a good portion of the day with her parents. She was perfectly comfortable with the camera, as you can see. Though she did let us know when she was finished for the day! Isn't she sweet?

I had the pleasure of photographing Jessie and her little brothers, also on Sunday. The pictures are a Christmas present for their mom, isn't that a great idea?
The boys have such different personalities, as I'm sure you can see, but are great friends. They were all a lot of fun to work with!

I was introduced to Tommy's little sister, Marriott, on Sunday. She hadn't made her arrival yet when we met for Tommy's two year old shoot last fall.
She was a sweet girl in spite of not feeling well. She certainly has her work cut out for her to keep up with her active big brother! How cute are her red shoes? :)

Lenox - 21 months

I went to Florida for a couple of days last week to see my adorable nephew (and the rest of my family). Lenox is talking up a storm and his "Aunt Jan" is especially cute. :) He seems to enjoy saying my name and would walk around chanting what sounded like AnJanAnJanAnJan. He must feel like his life is a quiz as he's often asked his name, last name, age, to identify letters of the alphabet (he knows them all and can spell his name) and to count to ten - but it's just so cute to hear! We had a great time reading LOTS of books, doing puzzles and playing with his latest obsession - lots of little plastic animals, all of which he can identify.

Mason

Mason belongs to a good friend of mine, Sara, and I just couldn't resist a quick photo shoot with this smiley little guy while I was in Jacksonville this past week. Isn't his one dimple the cutest thing?! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you may have seen Mason's older brother, Grant, appear the previous two falls. Cute little boys apparently run in the family. :)

Jack and Hunter - Twins!

Jack and Hunter are the first twins I've photographed and while two almost-one-year-olds sounded a bit daunting, they were so good, that it was a lot of fun. We had no illusions that I'd get them both in the same frame , but with the help of their very patient parents, we did! (when they are two and running, it may be a different story!) Plus a lot more cuteness and even a moment of early sibling rivalry (check out the slideshow).

Brenna and Jake

After many attempts, over 3 months, to find a beautiful day for their engagement shoot, Friday was finally the day! Brenna and Jake were troopers as they had quite an audience at Union Station during the evening rush hour. They said they wanted the flavor of DC in their engagement shoot... :) This is one of my favorite shots, requiring me to shoot between the heads of the people rushing by to get to the metro.
