Congratulations Elizabeth and Peter!

Elizabeth and Peter were married yesterday with a small, but very sweet wedding celebration at the Hilton in Old Town. It was a joy to capture the memories of the day and the beginning of their new family. Their love for each other was evident on their faces which made my job easy. Click play to watch their story.

The Lenox Show

OK, I know I'm a slightly obsessed Aunt, but I just have to share more pictures of Lenox from my recent time in Florida. He's just too cute to only show a couple of pictures. So, click play to see a few more. :) Enjoy!

Lenox at the Beach

Since the last post, Lenox was given his first haircut by his daddy who loves his clippers! But he does look cute and a much more grown up 7 1/2 months, doesn't he?

Tuten Family

I had a great time with the Tuten Family yesterday taking their family portrait. We first stopped at the Treaty Oak, as you can tell by the trunk size it's an old landmark in Jacksonville. We then heading out to Atlantic Beach for more fun shots.

Time at the Lake

We had a big reunion of church friends at the lake on Saturday - 10 families and nearly 40 people (we were missing lots of grown kids) - and Lenox loved being the center of attention. Here he is cooling off in his pool.

Lenox!

I'm in Florida for a few weeks, for work and visiting family, so I'm sure you're waiting for new Lenox pictures. Here are a few:
Lenox is getting his first teeth, can you see them?
Lenox is at lunch at his great-grandmother's house and sitting in the highchair she used as a baby.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas

I'm really excited to be able to offer my clients a new way to enjoy their images - gallery wrapped canvas! Canvas is an incredibly beautiful and classic way to display your images as art. They are even better in person, but here are a few pictures of my samples to give you an idea of how lovely they are:
a 10x10 square with a coordinating colored border
an 11x14 with the image wrapped
a 16x24 with the image wrapped

a set of 6x6 squares (showing the finishing on the back)

4th of July

I'm a little behind on my personal pictures, so happy 4th of July, just a few weeks late! :)
I was able to enjoy the fireworks from the White House lawn thanks to my friend Tracy. It was so nice not to battle the crowds on the mall, and the grass was a lot thicker and softer! And, the weather was actually pleasant for a change! It was a beautiful evening all around.
Part of the pre-fireworks entertainment.
The Oval Office with the Rose Garden to the right.
The President and his guests come out on the balcony for the fireworks. Note the sharp-shooters on the roof. They also stand along the edges of the lawn in the bushes and can be a bit startling if you walk close before realizing they are there!

Netherlands Carillon

Today was so beautiful, low 80s with little humidity, and the perfect day to enjoy a beautiful view of DC. This is the Carillon tower, given in 1960 as a gift from the Netherlands in appreciation of Allied efforts which liberated the country in World War II. It’s near Iwo Jima and is the best view of the city you’ll find. They have a summer concert series where the bells are played and the tower is open for climbing.

Congratulations Hannah and Chris!

Hannah and Chris planned a wonderful outdoor wedding day at Greenwell State Park in Maryland yesterday and they didn't let a little rain ruin their day. Hannah looked so sophisticated and beautiful. As you can tell I had a hard time picking just a few pictures to show. I've really enjoyed working with both of them and wish them well as they move to California to begin their life together!
