Ronald Reagan Pavilion Room Wedding Photography - Congratulations Anne and Chris!

Saturday, Anne and Chris were married in a beautiful ceremony on a sunny day. They celebrated their marriage with a gorgeous reception at the Pavilion Room at the Ronald Reagan Building (some pictures at the Willard Hotel). I love flowers, and the tables and centerpieces were incredible! (Janet Flowers and Event Design) Chris and Anne are such great people, I really enjoyed capturing their memories on this important day. I'm so blessed with wonderful clients! To see even more from their day, watch the slideshow below.

Noemi - 8 months

Little Noemi is growing up, but still has those adorable chubby cheeks! We had a family photo shoot (featuring Noemi, of course) to celebrate her father's birthday on Wednesday. Isn't she beautiful!?

Happy Birthday!

Jacksonville FL Children's Photographer

Monday I had a family shoot with Cathy and Scott, their kids Kyan and Camdyn and Cathy's parents. The only thing harder than photographing a two year old is to add a baby. :) But we had fun and enjoyed the beautiful, almost hot day. Watch the slideshow for the whole experience!

Kyan and Lenox are buddies and have matching Christmas PJs - they refused to wear their Santa hats, of course. The picture below summarizes the struggles of the day!

Boats and Fireworks

Jacksonville has a wonderful tradition of a boat parade and fireworks every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Some years it's warmer than others, this year it was quite windy which made sitting by the river a little cool. It also blew the smoke toward us which obscured a lot of the fireworks. But even so, Jacksonville does have some of the best fireworks of anywhere I've been (only rivaled by the opening of the derby in Louisville, KY). They are shot off two bridges on either side of where we were sitting and several barges and they reflect in the tall buildings. It's beautiful. As for the boats this year, the sailboat with the flag sails was my favorite!

Leon, Susan and Lenox

It's time for the latest pictures of my always cute nephew. :) Taken today despite "cool" weather. Here's Lenox and his parents:

Lenox will be having a John Deere 1st birthday party next month, so we had to get a few shots for his invitations. He LOVES anything with a steering wheel!
Watching the boats go by...

After pictures, he was allowed to "drive" for a few minutes. He was very excited!

Dumbarton Oaks

Today I visited one of my favorite hidden gems in DC, Dumbarton Oaks. You'll have to visit yourself to discover the gorgeous gardens. These images show off a little late fall color and some unique door handles.
